New murals

George has been painting actively since World War II, when he served aboard a Navy destroyer. He eagerly took on the project of painting the school ship Danmark, and did live research aboard that ship when she visited Boston in July 2006
Tony Falcone http://www.falconeartstudio.com/
Tony was selected to help us with master planning and preliminary artistic design. He worked with our pre-design architect (Ken Boroson of New Haven, CT) on the layout of the library room. As of 2007, Tony has been selected to paint the final murals for the following themes: Campbell/U-606, Pendleton Rescue, Drug Interdiction, September 11, Polar Class Icebreaker, Ocean Station Vessel, and Vietnam Surface Action.

Mike is a retired Coast Guard Commander and a graduate of the Academy class of 1965. Following 20 years of active duty as a civil engineer, Mike took up his second career as an artist. Mike is the artist of the paintings depicting a rescue by the crew of a 44-foot motor lifeboat and bouy tender operations.

Bob is a member of the Coast Guard Art Program, and has contributed several paintings therefor. He has specialized in paintings of the SS United States. His painting of the Barque Eagle was a special treat for him.

Andy is a charter member, Fellow, and past president of the American Society of Aviation Artists. A mechanical engineering graduate of the University of Oklahoma , Andy worked for Sikorsly for 48 years doing configurations for helicopters. His paintings are on permanent display at the New England Air Museum . Andy is the artist for the Cuban Exodus painting.
